Our Story
It all started in 2019…
…when we were challenged to create new insights into a complex dataset of complex social and environmental challenges (https://sdgs.un.org/goals) in a few days at the COP-25. At that specific moment, the moment you realise you that performance, value, and long-term innovation are all equally important, you realise short-term solutions do not meet these requirements. So you change: meeting our own needs without compromising the ability of future generations, you become Sustainable.
We specifically started Sustainable by Design to solve the most challenging problems in Data analytics and science and we believe that the best way to overcome complex social and environmental challenges is by enriching and expanding our partnerships, transforming business. But in order to do that, we don’t just need better algorithms, bigger datasets, and more computing power. We need powerful tools that help us explore, reason, and collaborate to create longer lasting value.
These tools do not exist yet. We need to invent them first.
Data analytics and Data science is hard. And the tools we use are not as helpful as they could be. We perfected the tools which help you from quickly go from a prototype to production. Tools which help us get from a problem to a solution. As data explorers, we search for patterns, we discover outliers, we discover value that help us make faster and better decisions. We also answer difficult questions and dillema’s. That’s what we’re good at.
But none of the tools we use today were built for this purpose.
We need tools that are both powerful and easy to use. Tools that make us more efficient and don’t stand in our way. Tools that help us collaborate and share our findings. Tools that help us handle complex problems. Tools that scale as our teams grow.
